The Goulburn Hotel that is popular with travellers
The Exchange is a colourful part of Goulburn history and a vibrant part of our entertainment scene.
Originally built in 1872 as the Exchange with 13 rooms. The 40s and 50s saw the name change to Doddlestons Exchange Hotel before being known as the Exchange again.
The Exchange Hotel is brimful of intrest and one of the oldest hotels in town. It was kept by a family named Campbell,Duncan being the licensee with a brother Hugh and sister Marcia. A very pronounced Scotch family and born full of Scotch sentiment. The sports day of the year was a Highland Gathering held annually on the 26th January at the old showground opposite the hospital.
Recent refurbishments and new management make this the must visit Hotel in town.
Famous for the best Thai meals in town served in our Dining Room or from our Bar Servery. |
